Won't work with completely dead battery, needed another jump starter to excite it. Didn't get excited enough and only lasted about a second. The 454 V8 was too much for this unit to handle.

"Claims 4,000 cranking amps but only produced 355 amps at 6V (2,130 watts). Weighs 1 lb, needs excitation from another jump starter. Started small block V8 but failed on big block and diesel. Light output: 40 lumens."
